Role Overview:
This position requires a Registered Medical Assistant (MA) with at least 5 years of experience in Primary Care Medicine and familiarity with Epic electronic health records. The MA will provide medical assistance under the supervision of a physician or licensed provider, performing tasks such as preparing exam rooms, obtaining vital signs and patient history, and executing clinical skills like phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections. They will also triage calls, deliver test and lab results, and ensure accurate charting.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications/registrations in area of expertise
- Preferred experience of 2+ years, especially in clinical settings
- CPR certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and readiness
- Gather patient information and perform clinical procedures
- Assist in patient triage and communication of test results
