Role Overview
As a Lead Caregiver, you serve as a shift leader, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while supporting and coaching the caregiving team. Your responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP). You will monitor resident changes, communicate concerns promptly, and support onboarding and mentoring of new team members. Promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care settings
