Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leader responsible for providing exceptional resident care while guiding and supporting the caregiving team.

Key duties include

leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and ensuring adequate coverage

delivering hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

coaching caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation

reviewing charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)

monitoring resident well-being and communicating concerns promptly

supporting onboarding and mentoring new team members

promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions

This role requires a high school diploma or GED,
CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications,
and strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.
