Position Overview

The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leader responsible for providing exceptional resident care and supporting the caregiving team in an assisted living setting.
They lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to ensure smooth operations.
Hands-on support with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), coaching caregivers on quality standards, documentation, and resident care plans are key duties.
Monitoring resident changes and communicating concerns promptly are essential for safety and well-being.
They support onboarding and mentor new team members, promoting safety, compliance, and professionalism during shift transitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18+
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care environments
