Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a critical access hospital’s Medical/Surgical unit, which includes 34 beds for general medical, surgical, telemetry, urology, cardiac, and pediatric care. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, education, safety, and quality compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
