Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN licensure required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry is advantageous.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
