Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time and observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms, report any concerns or refusals promptly, and complete narcotic counts as per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Identify early health changes and prevent medication errors through attention to detail and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and medication administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in senior care.
