Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes
• Observe and report symptoms or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain medication carts and rooms
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards

The role involves preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: Senior care experience
