Role: The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) in the Regional Float Pool provides individualized adult/geriatric nursing care across multiple hospital facilities, utilizing theoretical knowledge for decision-making.
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; float between facilities; serve diverse units including Med/Surg, ICU, ED, and more; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; adapt to various clinical settings.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; valid LPN license; minimum of one year recent bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg, two years for specialty units; certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable; IV certification; physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds.
