Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides primary clinical support, assisting providers and caring for patients across various age groups. Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient medical history, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Collect, prepare, and document laboratory specimens; manage patient communication and respond to inquiries.
- Administer medications and vaccines, including skin testing, under provider supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment, ensuring asepsis and proper equipment setup.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
- Ability to provide care within designated age ranges and clinical scope.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
