Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and precise clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Maintain accurate and real-time documentation in MAR/TAR
• Monitor resident symptoms, report adverse reactions, and conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance standards

The role emphasizes preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
