Role Overview
The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time.
- Monitor resident symptoms, report adverse reactions, and conduct health updates.
- Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
- Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents.
- Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong assessment and documentation skills.
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.
