Role Overview: This position involves providing licensed nursing support to residents by administering medications, monitoring health status, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Document accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time
- Monitor symptoms and respond to adverse reactions or refusals promptly
- Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
- Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
- Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active LPN license in good standing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred
