Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides essential nursing support in a senior living environment. Their responsibilities include administering medications and treatments according to physician orders, accurately documenting in MAR/TAR, monitoring residents’ symptoms, and reporting any adverse reactions or refusals. They conduct health updates, transcribe physician orders, observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes, and maintain medication carts while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role is vital for preventing medication errors, early detection of health issues, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
