Job Summary: Provides primary clinical support in a walk-in clinic, assisting in patient assessments, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, and vital signs.
- Assist providers with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under provider supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis and proper equipment setup.
- Facilitate effective communication with patients and providers, responding to questions and follow-up needs.
- Support diagnosis and treatment processes, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up of diagnostic tests.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
- Ability to perform clinical duties, including specimen collection, medication administration, and patient preparation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Adherence to safety and aseptic protocols in a clinical environment.
