LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – Pediatrics Allergy – Part-Time

Role Overview: The Clinic LPN provides primary clinical support to healthcare providers, patients, and families, assisting in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and providing direct care under provider supervision. The role involves assisting with minor procedures, collecting lab specimens, administering medications and vaccines, and maintaining a clean, sterile environment. The LPN ensures accurate documentation, manages patient communication, and supports efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required. New and experienced LPNs are welcome. Key skills include clinical support, communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Duties:

  • Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaints, and vital signs.
  • Assist providers with diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens accurately.
  • Communicate with patients, respond to questions, and prioritize provider communication.
  • Administer medications and vaccines per scope of practice.
  • Maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis and readiness.
