Role Overview: An LPN provides primary clinical support in outpatient clinics, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostics, and procedures. This full-time position involves obtaining patient histories, vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications and vaccines under provider supervision. The role includes collecting lab specimens, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and maintaining a clean, aseptic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document patient history, chief complaints, and vital signs
- Assist providers with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens accurately
- Communicate with patients and respond to inquiries, prioritizing provider needs
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care
Qualifications & Skills: Must have graduate-level nursing training from a specialty program. Prior experience is welcome but not required. Strong communication, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work collaboratively are essential.
