Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides primary clinical support in outpatient settings, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostic testing, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations. Assist in minor surgical and diagnostic procedures, collect laboratory specimens, and ensure accurate documentation. Administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision, and maintain clean, well-prepared examination rooms. Facilitate effective communication with patients and providers to ensure quality care and timely responses. Follow infection control protocols and promote a safe, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required. New and experienced LPNs are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills are essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adhere to organizational policies.
