Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care according to scope of practice and unit standards.
- Address the physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout hospitalization.
- Provide direct care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Coordinate care by collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and ancillary staff.
- Reinforce patient and family education, discharge planning, and promote safety and satisfaction.
- Mentor and precept new staff and students, participating in unit-based decision-making and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on compassionate patient interactions.
