Role Overview: This position is for an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and supporting discharge planning. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, evaluates intervention effectiveness, and mentors new staff and students.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute data to patient assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and reinforce patient and family education. Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies. Participate in evidence-based practice decisions and assist in performance evaluations. Coordinate patient care to promote safety, satisfaction, and adaptive responses.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing. Demonstrates compassionate care, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. Ability to work in a clinical environment, adhere to policies, and collaborate effectively.
Work Environment & Schedule: Typically performed in a clinical setting, with hours from 7a-7:30p, including every other weekend and holiday.
