Seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a full-time locum trauma surgery role in Robbinsdale, MN, from May to July. The position involves primarily functioning as a trauma hospitalist rounder, with occasional ED consults, trauma activations, and procedures.
- Work in a hospital setting with no call responsibilities, in-house coverage only.
- Manage 10-14 non-ICU and 6 ICU admitted patients daily; ED admits range from 2-15 per 24 hours.
- Respond to trauma alerts, facilitate discharges, and manage all patient conditions independently.
- Qualifications include active MN license, PA or ACNP certification, ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of inpatient, trauma, ICU, or orthopedics experience.
- Preferred skills include non-invasive ventilation, chest tube insertion, central/arterial lines, and suturing minor lacerations.
