We are seeking a Locum Tenens Neurology Advanced Practice Provider for an ongoing assignment in Rockford, IL.
Start ASAP, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules, typically 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with no call.Responsibilities include inpatient neurology rounding, new patient consults, managing stroke alerts, responding to acute ED and transfer evaluations, and pre- and post-operative care for endovascular cases. There may also be intermittent clinic in-basket management.Candidates should have a strong background in stroke and neurology, with 1-2 years of experience, and be comfortable supporting interventional physicians. Certification as an Acute Care NP or PA is required, along with an active Illinois license. EMR used is EPIC.Benefits include high hourly pay ($130-$150/hr), coverage of malpractice, travel, lodging, rental car or mileage, and parking.
