Position Overview:
The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or direction of a licensed healthcare professional. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) maintains accountability for patient care, coordinates with other departments, and ensures patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care in the Medical Telemetry department.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and reaching during shifts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
- At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification required, with additional certifications as needed.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
