This nursing position involves supporting, implementing, and monitoring patient care accurately and promptly.
Requirements include a valid nursing license from Tennessee and graduation from an approved nursing program.
Certification in BLS within 90 days of hire is necessary.
Must be able to work well under pressure, independently and dependently, with flexibility in various settings.
Experience in a medical/surgical unit with diverse patient ages is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English, prolonged standing, and up to 12-hour shifts are required.
Must be capable of pushing/pulling objects up to 175 lbs and lifting/turning patients up to 250 lbs with assistance.
Key responsibilities include collecting patient data, revising care plans, educating patients, administering treatments, monitoring responses, and documenting accurately.
Maintains a safe, healing environment, adheres to policies, and facilitates staff development.
Ensures professionalism through personal appearance, cleanliness, safety, and effective communication.
