We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatrics team, providing direct and telephone nursing care following established standards.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless patient care and active patient participation
- Assisting physicians with clinical procedures and patient education
- Providing direction to non-licensed personnel such as clerical and medical assistants
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current NYS license with good standing
- Pediatrics experience
Preferred skills:
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years as an LPN or 2+ years as a Medical Assistant in relevant practice areas
- Experience with pre-authorizations
