Role and Responsibilities:
The position involves providing basic nursing care in a non-acute outpatient setting under supervision, following professional standards and regulations.
Responsibilities include assisting with examinations and procedures, documenting patient information, managing supplies and equipment, administering medications as directed, and supporting patient education on health and self-care.
Additional duties encompass preparing exam rooms, handling communications, participating in team education, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
The role may include mentoring team members and participating in organizational meetings and compliance training.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or recognized equivalency.
- Current LPN licensure recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state license.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to adhere to policies, practice safe resource use, and maintain professional development.
