Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care, addressing psychological and physical needs within their scope of practice. Responsibilities include obtaining patient information, administering medications and treatments, starting and monitoring IV infusions, documenting care activities, and supporting clinical procedures. The LPN communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, maintains patient confidentiality, and participates in process improvements and emergency procedures. Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an approved practical nursing program
- Current, unrestricted Massachusetts LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in electronic tools and applications
