Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities: Follow and implement treatment plans, chart patient progress accurately, utilize therapy software, assist with patient evacuation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program, hold an active state license, and maintain CPR certification. Prior experience in post-acute care is preferred.
