Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities: Follow and implement treatment plans, chart patient progress accurately, utilize therapy software, assist with patient evacuation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program, hold an active state license, and maintain CPR certification. Prior experience in post-acute care is preferred.

Skills & Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, good body mechanics, decision-making ability, adherence to laws and facility policies, and professional integrity.

Key Duties: Ensure patient safety, provide compassionate care, maintain confidentiality, participate in community health projects, and demonstrate dependable attendance.
