About the Role:
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics will deliver mental health treatment to children in Southern-Central Vermont, supporting their social, emotional, and developmental needs within a primary care setting.
Key Functions:
- Provide emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families
- Assess social, environmental, and psychosocial needs
- Develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team
- Conduct therapy sessions and deliver education on coping strategies and resources
- Maintain documentation and stay current with best practices
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, therapy, or counseling and valid licensure (e.g., LMHC, LICSW)
- Experience in pediatric social work and primary care preferred
- Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
