Licensed Mental Health Clinician – Pediatrics

Community Health offers a primary care network providing wellness, dental, behavioral health, pediatric specialties, and walk-in Express Care across multiple locations.

About the Role:

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics will deliver mental health treatment to children in Southern-Central Vermont, supporting their social, emotional, and developmental needs within a primary care setting.

Key Functions:

  • Provide emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families
  • Assess social, environmental, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct therapy sessions and deliver education on coping strategies and resources
  • Maintain documentation and stay current with best practices

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, therapy, or counseling and valid licensure (e.g., LMHC, LICSW)
  • Experience in pediatric social work and primary care preferred
  • Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
