Licensed Family Therapist I

The Family Therapist provides individual, family, group, and emergency crisis counseling to victims and secondary victims of sexual assault.

**Key responsibilities include:**

  • Assessing and providing ongoing crisis counseling for sexual assault victims
  • Facilitating weekly support groups and age-appropriate counseling for children
  • Maintaining client records and collecting demographic data for grant reporting
  • Collaborating with staff and mental health professionals for referrals and training
  • Developing relationships with community mental health resources


  • **Qualifications:**
  • Master’s degree and professional license in counseling or therapy
  • Experience working with sexual assault victims, including children and adults
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills

  • **Supervised by:** Advocacy Director

    **Position details:** Full-time, $55,000-$72,000/year, with benefits including flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and mileage reimbursement. Work is conducted in person.
