Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/ADC-T

This full-time position requires knowledge of
-42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA,
-Reporting Maltreatment of Vulnerable Adults and Minors,
-Conducting comprehensive substance use assessments and clinical evaluations,
-Understanding Substance Use Disorders,
-Referral processes,
-Case management,
-Group dynamics,
-Residential/outpatient treatment,
-Aftercare resources,
-Relapse prevention,
-Co-occurring disorders,
-Professional ethics, and
-Diagnostic criteria.

Key skills include
-Evaluations,
-Placements,
-Maintaining clinical records,
-Developing treatment plans,
-Counseling (group, individual, family),
-Diagnosis, and
-Referrals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 1 year of addiction counseling experience preferred. People with criminal records are encouraged to apply.
