-Conducting Direct Access and Comprehensive Substance Use Assessments
-Performing Clinical Evaluations and diagnosing Substance Use Disorders
-Managing the Referral Process and Case Management
-Understanding Group Dynamics and Treatment Settings (Residential/Outpatient)
-Providing Aftercare Resources and addressing Relapse
-Working with Co-Occurring Disorders and adhering to Professional Ethics
-Applying Diagnostic Criteria
Skills include evaluations, placements, maintaining clinical records, developing treatment plans, and delivering group, individual, and family counseling, including co-occurring treatment and referrals.
