LDRP Clinical Nurse PRN

Role Overview:

The position involves providing direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within nursing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
  • Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred).
    • No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.
    • Preferred: BSN degree and OB/L&D experience.
