LDRP Clinical Nurse PRN

Role Overview:

The position involves providing direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within nursing standards.

Responsibilities:

Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.

Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.

Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred).
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.
• Preferred: BSN degree and OB/L&D experience.
