Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their health, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. It requires active participation in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs, including patient preferences and barriers to care.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and adjust care accordingly.
  • Promote a safe, healing environment while adhering to standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
  • Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
