Role: Staff RN for the Cardiovascular Intermediate unit, providing evidence-based nursing care to intermediate-acuity cardiac patients.
Key Duties:
- Deliver continuous monitoring and assess patient condition to identify changes early.
- Administer medications accurately and safely.
- Provide post-procedure care and coordinate follow-up needs.
- Respond promptly to clinical deterioration and initiate rapid response actions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
- Support safe, effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN licensure and demonstrated proficiency in intermediate-acuity cardiovascular care.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to act quickly based on patient status.
- Medication administration expertise and knowledge of post-procedure nursing care.
- Effective communication and patient/family education skills.
