Staff RN – Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit (Nights)
Provide evidence-based, compassionate nursing care for intermediate-acuity cardiac patients in a continuous-monitoring setting. Deliver safe, high-quality care by administering medications, performing post-procedure assessments, and responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients continuously and recognize clinical deterioration early
- Administer medications and manage post-procedure care according to clinical protocols
- Coordinate rapid response interventions when patient status changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence
- Support safe, effective discharge planning and transitions of care
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse licensure with strong cardiac/intermediate acuity competency
- Ability to deliver patient-centered care and communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
- Proficient in medication administration, assessment, and clinical documentation
- Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills in dynamic clinical situations
