Inpatient Pharmacist Manager

Role Overview: The manager oversees clinical pharmacy services within their assigned area, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication use. They supervise staff, maintain high standards of patient care, and develop new programs based on needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all pharmacist duties; evaluate and improve pharmacy practices.
  • Manage staff recruitment, performance, and workflow to support optimal patient care.
  • Address employee and patient issues, collaborating with HR and leadership as needed.
  • Develop protocols for medication utilization, cost containment, and safety compliance.
  • Contribute to staffing and financial planning, ensuring operational and clinical standards are met.
  • Implement education initiatives, operational contingency plans, and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and corporate standards.
  • Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required, along with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of medication management, staff development, and regulatory requirements.
