Inpatient Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Role: An Advanced Practitioner specializing in Palliative Medicine, supporting inpatient care within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results; prescribe and adjust medications and therapies.
  • Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner licensure.
  • Collaborate with physicians, primary care providers, and staff via communication channels.
  • Provide patient advocacy through safe, ethical care, health education, and clear communication.
  • Follow policies and guidelines to meet clinical goals and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:
