ICU RN – Full Time – Night Shift

Role Overview:

This critical care nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role offers opportunities to develop advanced critical care skills in a supportive environment, caring for acute cardiac patients prior to transfer and managing complex cases. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the interprofessional team and effective communication are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering patient-centered care and family education on illness management and medication administration.
  • Participating in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development activities.
  • Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
  • Developing and documenting care plans aligned with standards of nursing care.
  • Maintaining a safe environment, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN license.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 2+ years of experience.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
