Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed Critical Care Unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications: Must have an RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred. No prior experience required, but less than 2 years of experience is advantageous. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and adherence to safety standards.
