ICU Clinical Nurse PRN

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in activities ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and addressing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting their values and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license required, with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
  • 2 years ICU experience preferred; experience in critical procedures is advantageous
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, with strong assessment and communication skills
  • Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support certifications preferred
