Position Overview: The Hospice Registered Nurse provides and documents skilled nursing care according to care plans and physician’s orders, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities: Deliver and coordinate quality patient care, assess patient conditions, report changes, document activities and assessments, develop and update care plans, implement appropriate interventions, recognize and respond to patient needs, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, utilize infection control measures, and educate patients and families on care and prevention.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license, CPR certified, and possess a valid driver’s license with insurance.
Skills: Strong observational, assessment, documentation, and communication skills, along with accountability and knowledge of infection control.
