Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant PTA Part Time

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services in home health settings.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, treating, and educating patients under the supervision of a physical therapist and according to the physician’s plan of care.
  • Communicating progress and updates to patients, caregivers, and team members.
  • Providing treatments to improve or maintain patient function, relieve pain, and ensure safety.
  • Teaching patients and caregivers about assistive devices and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and planning patient discharge.
  • Documenting patient observations, treatment progress, and ensuring timely record-keeping.
  • Adhering to ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and complying with professional guidelines.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA.
  • Valid CPR certification.

Preferred experience: in home health therapy and OASIS documentation.
