Position Overview:
The Clinical Manager – Home Health oversees clinical staff serving high medical acuity or extended non-licensed clients. Responsibilities include staff orientation, ensuring competence, and providing RN Case Manager/Preceptor resources. Ensures services comply with licensing standards, medical protocols, and agency policies.
Key Duties:
- Develops and manages clinical programs, services, and staff in line with policies and regional directives.
- Supports agency growth and acts as a clinical expert for operational and financial oversight.
- Investigates client complaints and ensures quality through regular home visits.
- Recruits, hires, and assesses clinical staff, conducting annual evaluations.
- Supervises RN, LPN, and CNA staff, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Oversees case management for financial and service quality outcomes, managing caseloads as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Nurse licensure in the practice state.
- Active CPR certification.
- Preferred: 3+ years RN experience in home health or hospice, Bachelor’s degree, Medicare Skilled Nursing experience, and OASIS knowledge.
