High Risk Labor and Delivery Nurse provides specialized, high-acuity obstetric care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor high-risk mothers and infants.
- Manage obstetric complications and support high-risk inductions and deliveries.
- Assist with surgical procedures related to labor and delivery.
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and coordinate urgent care needs.
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and support staff.
- Educate patients and families, document clinical care, and communicate updates to the care team.
- Uphold evidence-based, patient-first safety standards.
