Role Overview:

This registered nurse role involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and promoting family-centered care. Responsibilities include educating patients and families on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment care, while participating in quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
  • Current RN license; no prior experience required, but two years of experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
