High Risk Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities enhancing patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
  • Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN licensure required; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, with preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred for advanced roles.
  • Telemetry/Cardiac experience is preferred.
