Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at a healthcare facility. This role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, aiding in return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. You will offer both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal services, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, Board Certification or Eligibility in Hand Surgery, and malpractice insurance.
